This home was a condemned historic property and a large tree had fallen through the home when we started the renovation. It was formerly a duplex and we converted it to a single-family home.
We were able to vault the ceilings in the main living area since we had to rebuild most of the structure. We played on that ceiling height with this kitchen design. Using classic craftsman trim details and stained wood we brought this space back to life.
The shiplap you see on the bar was actually found under layers of siding on the exterior and was the original german lap siding. We harvested some and were able to use it here.
